Dining At Sea

Dining on the High Seas

This information is about restaurants on the Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy, as we have not yet embarked on the Magic (hopefully someday soon).

Rotational Dining

Each night of your cruise, you and your personal wait staff will "rotate" to one of the 3 distinctly themed restaurants, ensuring you enjoy a delicious meal catered to your liking in a unique setting. There are 2 dinner seatings each night of your cruise. Although specific times vary based on itinerary, dinner is served at approximately 5:45 PM (Main Seating) and 8:15 PM (Second Seating). Once onboard the ship, check the dining tickets that can be found in your stateroom for assigned seating time, restaurant schedule and table number. Please note that you are invited to select a seating time, depending on availability, when you book your cruise. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/royal-palace-restaurant/

  • extra costs
  • advantages/disadvantages

We have never had a bad meal on the ship. All the restaurants are top notch and worth going to at least once on your cruises (if you are cruising on a 5-night and up). We have never skipped a dinner at the main dining rooms. My daughter is a picky eater and the wait staff on each one of our cruises understood and knew just what she wanted. Every now and then she would add to or take away something from her "norm". Don't worry about not knowing which dessert to try. They will bring you one of everything! We started cruising with the early seating but learned that the later seating was better suited for our family because we got up later than most people and by the time we ate lunch we were not hungry for the early dinner, not to mention we were always up late. Two things I love the most only happens on the 7-night and longer cruises. That is lobster tail and mickey pretzels. Yum yum!

Quick Service

Cabanas (all 4 ships)

The information below comes from Disney Cruise Line's website: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/cabanas-restaurant/

A Unique Culinary Experience

Cabanas is a novel, free-flowing buffet experience serving made-to-order mouthwatering specialties. During breakfast and lunch, wander the "boardwalk"—home to over 10 diverse food stations—and partake in an eclectic menu of freshly prepared, culinary classics. At dinnertime, the restaurant is transformed into a table-service dining experience where entrees are cooked to order in the show kitchen.
  • Dinner: If you’re looking to “hang ten” and enjoy dinner under the stars while basking in the night breezes—or perhaps you simply prefer a more subdued setting inside the restaurant with an ocean view—you’re invited to dine at Cabanas in place of your scheduled Main Dining restaurant. Bedecked in linen tablecloths and napkins, dinner at Cabanas features signature dishes from the Main Dining restaurants plus a menu of exclusive lip-smacking delicacies over a tantalizing 4-course meal.

For an additional fee, cocktails and specialty drinks can be ordered from the full-service Clam Bar.
  • Breakfast and Lunch: With an almost endless array of classic American breakfast fare, Cabanas is the perfect start to the new day. Feast on made-to-order omelets, scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns, Mickey-shaped waffles, muffins, fruit, cereal and more. Hot beverages like cappuccino, espresso and café latte only make the morning brighter.

Featuring a bountiful variety of contemporary favorites, lunch at Cabanas includes salads, soups, burgers, sandwiches, steak, chicken, seafood and pizza. For a sweet ending, treat your taste buds to a selection of delectable desserts like sundaes, cookies, cakes and fruit.
  • Vegetarian and Kids Menu: Vegetarian dishes and a selection of classic children’s food favorites are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cabanas.
  • All menu items are subject to change without notice.

A Seaside Promenade

Cabanas recalls a breezy boardwalk along a picturesque Australian beach—with an occasional splash of Disney magic. The restaurant’s charming décor includes clam shell tables and Adirondack chairs, palm trees and beach umbrellas, decorative surfboards and kites, and flooring that alternates between sandy-brown wood paneling and ocean-blue carpet. Floor-to-ceiling windows let you lose yourself to the sweeping seascapes as you dine, and a vintage-inspired striped foyer is designed to make you feel as if you’re entering your very own cabana.

Adding to the fun, a dramatic 30-foot-long, hand-crafted mosaic depicting an underwater scene from the Disney·Pixar animated hit film Finding Nemo can be found on the wall, as well as a decorative art-piece illustrating the 5 Disney castles.

Flo's Cafe' (Dream and Fantasy)

Looking to top off your tank? Make a pit stop at this outdoor eatery, home to 3 food stations—Luigi's Pizza, Tow Mater's Grill and Fillmore's Favorites—inspired by Disney·Pixar’s Cars. Guzzle burgers, chicken, pizza, salads and sandwiches. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/flos-cafe/

Eye Scream Treats (all 4 ships)

Frozone Treats (Dream, Fantasy, Magic)

Chill out with a super-cool refreshment! Preludes (all 4 ships)
Set the stage for an evening of unforgettable entertainment at this snack bar located outside the Walt Disney Theatre. Pick up cookies, candy, cocktails and popcorn before the show—or enjoy wait-staff service from your seat inside the theater.
